Why Retinelle exists
Retinelle started after a family-home inventory became a tangle of spreadsheet cells and separate photos. The app keeps the useful parts of that process—capture, structure, and export—together so an inventory can grow a few items at a time.

Yes. Core inventory capture and organization work offline, and inventory data stays on your device by default. You choose when to back up, export, or share it; limited diagnostic or usage information may still be sent as described in the Privacy Policy.
Inventory entries, photos, and custom fields are stored on your device by default, but security also depends on your device passcode, operating-system protections, backups, and where you share exports. Retinelle does not require a cloud account, and you are responsible for keeping a recoverable backup.
There is no fixed Retinelle photo quota stated here. The practical limit depends on available device storage, photo sizes, and overall device performance, so keep backups or exports for important inventories.
Retinelle does not provide automatic device-to-device sync. Use backup and restore to move a full inventory, or export a PDF or XLSX file and share the copy. PDF export is available in the app; XLSX and advanced export options may depend on your current Retinelle Plus plan.
Yes! You can create custom projects to organize your items exactly how you want them. And with the custom fields, you can add extra layers of information (price, quantity, etc).
